Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
YAP1 (Yes-associated protein 1) is a critical regulator of the Hippo signaling pathway, which plays a vital role in controlling cell growth, proliferation, and apoptosis. In various studies, YAP1 has emerged as an essential factor in cancer biology, particularly in tumorigenesis and metastasis, due to its function as a transcriptional co-activator. Aberrant regulation of YAP1 has been linked to multiple cancers, including liver, breast, and lung cancers, making it a promising therapeutic target. Research on recombinant YAP1 protein primarily aims to elucidate its molecular mechanisms and interactions within the Hippo pathway and other signaling networks. By engineering YAP1 in a recombinant form, scientists can study its structural properties, identify its binding partners, and explore its post-translational modifications. This research can also facilitate the development of novel therapeutic strategies that target YAP1 or its downstream effectors to inhibit cancer progression. Additionally, understanding YAP1's role in stem cell biology and tissue regeneration highlights its potential applications beyond oncology, making it a multifaceted protein of interest in cellular and molecular biology. Overall, the study of recombinant YAP1 protein provides insights into fundamental biological processes and opens avenues for innovative cancer treatment approaches.
