  • What types of protein tags can be customized?

    We support customization of various common and functional tags, including His, GST, Flag, HA, Myc, Strep, Fc, SUMO, MBP and more, which can be flexibly selected according to protein properties and experimental requirements.

  • Can tags be fused to the N-terminus or C-terminus?

    Customization at either the N-terminus or C-terminus is available. Prior to design, we conduct an evaluation based on protein structure, functional domains and downstream applications (e.g., activity assays, interaction analysis) to prevent impairment of protein bioactivity.

  • Will protein tags affect protein bioactivity?

    Properly designed tags generally have no impact on protein bioactivity. For activity-sensitive proteins, we can recommend small-molecule tags or provide cleavable tag solutions to maximally preserve the native conformation of target proteins.

  • Is tag cleavage service available?

    Yes. We support the design of common cleavage sites such as TEV, Thrombin and Factor Xa, and offer tag cleavage and post-cleavage purification services to obtain high-purity tag-free target proteins.
