Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
YAF2, a member of the YTH domain-containing protein family, has emerged as a significant player in the regulation of gene expression through its interaction with RNA. It was originally identified for its ability to bind to N6-methyladenosine (m6A)-modified RNA, a ubiquitous RNA modification that influences various biological processes, including development, differentiation, and stress responses. Current research underscores the potential role of YAF2 in mediating the effects of m6A on mRNA stability, translation efficiency, and splicing, highlighting its importance in post-transcriptional regulation. Moreover, YAF2's involvement in cellular pathways related to cancer and developmental disorders has driven interest in elucidating its functional mechanisms and structural properties through recombinant protein studies. The generation of YAF2 recombinant protein enables scientists to study its biochemical properties, interaction with RNA, and influence on cellular functions in a controlled environment. Understanding YAF2's role in RNA metabolism and gene regulation could unveil novel insights into the pathophysiology of various diseases and suggest potential therapeutic targets for intervention.
