Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HJURP (Holliday Junction Recognizing Protein) is a crucial player in the assembly of the centromere, the region of a chromosome where spindle fibers attach during cell division. Its primary function is to facilitate the incorporation of specific variants of the histone H3, known as CENP-A, into the chromatin structure of centromeres, ensuring proper chromosome segregation. Research into HJURP and its role in the deposition of CENP-A has profound implications for understanding cellular division. Dysregulation of centromere function is associated with various diseases, including cancer, where improper chromosome segregation can lead to aneuploidy and tumorigenesis. Recent advances in structural biology and molecular techniques have shed light on the intricate mechanisms by which HJURP recognizes and binds to centromeric DNA and interacts with other centromere-associated factors. The study of HJURP not only enhances our comprehension of centromere biology and chromatin dynamics but also presents potential therapeutic targets for diseases linked to centromere dysfunction. Understanding the precise roles and regulatory mechanisms of HJURP in centromere assembly and stability could pave the way for novel interventions in diseases characterized by chromosomal instability.
