Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UBE2C, a member of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family, plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which regulates protein degradation and signaling pathways within cells. This enzyme is involved in the post-translational modification of target proteins by transferring ubiquitin molecules, thereby marking them for degradation or altering their functional properties. Abnormal UBE2C expression has been implicated in various diseases, particularly cancer, where it is often overexpressed, contributing to tumorigenesis by promoting the degradation of tumor suppressor proteins. Research into recombinant UBE2C protein aims to elucidate its molecular mechanisms and interactions with other cellular components. By producing UBE2C in a recombinant form, scientists can study its enzymatic activity, binding affinity to substrates, and its impact on cellular pathways in a controlled environment. Additionally, understanding UBE2C's role in cancer biology holds potential for therapeutic interventions, as targeting UBE2C may restore normal protein degradation processes and inhibit cancer progression. Further studies using UBE2C recombinant protein could facilitate the development of novel cancer treatments and contribute to the broader understanding of ubiquitin-mediated regulation in various biological contexts.
