  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

PCDHGB6, a member of the protocadherin gamma (PCDHG) gene cluster, plays a crucial role in intercellular adhesion and the establishment of neural connections. Research has shown that PCDHGB6 is involved in the development of the nervous system, influencing processes such as synaptogenesis and neuronal differentiation. Its unique structure, characterized by multiple extracellular cadherin-like repeats, suggests specific binding capabilities that may contribute to cell type-specific interactions. Given its potential involvement in neurodevelopmental disorders, the study of PCDHGB6 recombinant protein has gained significance. Understanding the molecular mechanisms and pathways modulated by PCDHGB6 can unveil insights into various conditions associated with synaptic dysfunction and neurodevelopmental anomalies. Moreover, developing PCDHGB6 recombinant proteins can facilitate the exploration of its functional dynamics, paving the way for therapeutic strategies aimed at ameliorating neurological disorders. As a result, PCDHGB6 represents a promising target for advancing the understanding of neural network formation and pathologies linked to its dysregulation. The ongoing investigation into its properties may lead to breakthroughs in both basic neuroscience and clinical applications, ultimately contributing to innovative approaches in treating brain-related diseases.
