Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
P2RX6, a member of the purinergic receptor family, is an ionotropic receptor that plays a significant role in various physiological processes, including neurotransmission, immune responses, and inflammation. Its activation by extracellular ATP leads to the opening of cation channels, resulting in cell depolarization and signaling cascades that affect cell behavior. Research has shown that P2RX6 is involved in the modulation of pain, neuronal development, and the regulation of immune cells, thereby making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions in conditions such as chronic pain, neurodegenerative diseases, and inflammatory disorders. The study of P2RX6 recombinant proteins provides insights into its structural and functional characteristics, enabling researchers to investigate its signaling mechanisms and interactions with other cellular components. Understanding P2RX6's role and its implications in various pathophysiological contexts paves the way for the development of novel drugs targeting this receptor, offering hope for improved treatments for diseases where P2RX6 is implicated. Given the increasing interest in purinergic signaling pathways, elucidating the details of P2RX6 function through recombinant protein studies is crucial for advancing our knowledge and therapeutic strategies in related medical fields.
