Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Pcdhb8, a member of the protocadherin family, plays a critical role in cell adhesion, neuronal development, and synaptic formation. Research on Pcdhb8 has gained traction due to its involvement in various biological processes and potential implications in neurological disorders. Protocadherins, known for their unique structure and diverse expression patterns, are believed to contribute to the specificity of neuronal connections. Pcdhb8, specifically, is expressed in the brain and has been associated with the regulation of synaptic strength and plasticity. The production of recombinant Pcdhb8 protein enables detailed structural and functional studies, providing insight into its molecular mechanisms. Understanding Pcdhb8's function can elucidate its role in neurodevelopmental pathways and its contribution to diseases such as autism and schizophrenia. Therefore, generating and characterizing Pcdhb8 recombinant protein not only advances basic neuroscience research but also holds significant potential for therapeutic applications in targeting synaptic dysfunction and improving neurodevelopmental health.
