Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The research on NGFR (nerve growth factor receptor), also known as TrkA (tropomyosin receptor kinase A), stems from its crucial role in neuronal development, survival, and differentiation. NGFR is a high-affinity receptor for nerve growth factor (NGF), a significant neurotrophic factor that promotes the growth and maintenance of sympathetic and sensory neurons. Dysregulation of NGFR signaling has been implicated in various neurodegenerative diseases, as well as in pain disorders, emphasizing the need for a deeper understanding of its molecular mechanisms. The recombinant production of NGFR proteins facilitates the exploration of its structural and functional properties, enabling researchers to investigate binding affinities with NGF and other ligands, assess signaling pathways activated upon receptor engagement, and develop potential therapeutic interventions. By producing NGFR in a recombinant system, scientists can achieve high yields of pure protein necessary for biophysical assays, crystallography, and functional studies. This research not only provides insights into NGFR's contribution to neuronal health but also paves the way for designing novel strategies to combat neurodegeneration and pain management through targeted modulation of NGFR activity.
