Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TARBP2, or TRBP (TAR RNA-binding protein 2), is a crucial component of the RNA interference (RNAi) pathway, playing a significant role in the post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression. It functions by interacting with small RNA molecules, such as microRNAs (miRNAs) and small interfering RNAs (siRNAs), facilitating their assembly into RISC (RNA-induced silencing complex) to mediate gene silencing in response to viral infections and other regulatory mechanisms. Given its pivotal role in cellular processes, TARBP2 has garnered attention in various fields, including cancer research, where aberrations in miRNA pathways often correlate with tumor progression and metastasis. Additionally, TARBP2's involvement in neurological disorders has been explored, as it participates in the processing and function of miRNAs that regulate neuronal development and synaptic plasticity. Advances in recombinant protein technology have enabled researchers to produce TARBP2 in vitro, allowing for detailed studies into its structure, binding interactions, and functional mechanisms. The study of TARBP2 recombinant proteins is critical for understanding its potential as a therapeutic target and for the design of novel RNA-based therapies that harness the RNAi pathway to combat diseases associated with dysregulated gene expression. Overall, ongoing research into TARBP2 not only unveils the complexities of post-transcriptional regulation but also opens new avenues for therapeutic interventions in cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.
