  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

AMN1, a gene associated with the regulation of cell division and cytokinesis in yeast, has gained attention in recent years for its role in maintaining genomic stability and contributing to cellular processes. The protein encoded by AMN1 is crucial for ensuring proper segregation of chromosomes during cell division, particularly in the late stages of cytokinesis. Studies have shown that mutations or dysregulation of AMN1 can lead to various cellular malfunctions and contribute to oncogenesis. Its functional parallels in higher eukaryotes suggest that AMN1 might also play significant roles in human cell division and cancer progression. Researchers are keen to investigate the exact mechanisms through which AMN1 operates, including its interactions with other proteins involved in the cytokinesis process and its potential implications for targeted therapies in cancer treatment. Moreover, understanding AMN1's structure and function could provide critical insights into the evolutionary conservation of cell division processes across species. This growing interest in AMN1 highlights the need for detailed studies on its recombinant protein forms, which could facilitate further exploration of its biological significance and therapeutic potential.
