Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OR52N4, a member of the olfactory receptor (OR) gene family, has gained attention in recent years due to its unique role in sensory perception and potential implications in therapeutic applications. Olfactory receptors are typically associated with the detection of volatile organic compounds; however, OR52N4 is distinct for its expression in non-olfactory tissues suggesting broader physiological roles beyond smell. Prior research has indicated that OR52N4 may be involved in modulating immune responses and influencing cell signaling pathways, making it a candidate for exploring its functions in conditions such as cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. The recombinant protein of OR52N4 serves as a crucial tool for studying its biochemical properties and interactions with ligands, as well as understanding its downstream effects in cellular models. By generating recombinant OR52N4, researchers can assess its structural characteristics and functional behavior, which can lead to insights into its contribution to health and disease. Overall, the investigation of OR52N4 through recombinant technology is positioned at the intersection of molecular biology, pharmacology, and therapeutic development, underlining its potential as a biomarker or target for novel treatments.
