Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TAF10, a core component of the TFIID complex, plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation and gene expression. As part of the multiprotein complex, TAF10 interacts with other general transcription factors and RNA polymerase II, facilitating the recruitment of these essential components to promoter regions of DNA. Understanding TAF10's structure and function has notable implications in both basic and applied molecular biology. Recent research has highlighted its involvement in various cellular processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and response to stress, linking it to essential pathways that govern cellular homeostasis. Mutations and dysregulation of TAF10 have been implicated in several human diseases, including cancer, making it a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. The recombinant protein expression of TAF10 allows for in-depth biochemical and biophysical studies, which can elucidate its functional mechanisms and interactions within the TFIID complex. Moreover, the production of TAF10 as a recombinant protein enables researchers to explore its interactions with various transcription factors and small molecule inhibitors, paving the way for innovative approaches to modulate gene expression for therapeutic purposes. Overall, the research on TAF10 recombinant protein is pivotal in uncovering its multifaceted roles within the cell and developing strategies to address diseases linked to transcriptional dysregulation.
