  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

USP51, a member of the ubiquitin-specific protease (USP) family, has garnered attention due to its potential role in regulating various cellular processes, including cell cycle progression, apoptosis, and DNA repair mechanisms. Recent studies suggest that USP51 acts as a critical deubiquitinating enzyme that modulates the stability and function of key regulatory proteins involved in these pathways. Notably, alterations in USP51 expression have been implicated in several cancers, indicating its potential as a biomarker for tumor progression and a target for therapeutic intervention. Understanding the molecular mechanisms by which USP51 exerts its effects, including its substrate specificity and interactions with ubiquitin-modifying systems, could provide substantial insights into cancer biology and other diseases. Furthermore, exploring the structure-function relationship of USP51 through recombinant protein studies may reveal novel druggable sites, paving the way for the development of USP51 inhibitors as a promising strategy in cancer treatment. Thus, research on USP51 is not only vital for elucidating fundamental biological processes but also holds significant promise for advancing therapeutic approaches in oncology.
