Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
USP4 (Ubiquitin-Specific Protease 4) is a deubiquitinating enzyme that plays a critical role in regulating various cellular processes, including protein stability, signal transduction, and gene expression. Dysregulation of USP4 has been implicated in several pathologies, including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and immune disorders, making it an attractive target for therapeutic intervention. Studies suggest that USP4 may modulate the activity of key signaling pathways, such as the NF-κB and Wnt/β-catenin pathways, by removing ubiquitin chains from target proteins, thus influencing their degradation and function. The expression and activity of USP4 can be altered in disease states, contributing to tumorigenesis and resistance to therapy. Research into USP4 recombinant protein has provided insights into its structure-function relationships, enzymatic mechanisms, and interactions with substrates. Understanding the molecular basis of USP4’s activity is not only crucial for elucidating its role in normal cellular function but also for developing novel therapeutics that can selectively target USP4 to restore normal signaling pathways in diseases where ubiquitination signaling is disrupted. Hence, the exploration of USP4 recombinant protein is pivotal for advancing our comprehension of its biological significance and potential as a drug target in various diseases.
