  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

USP44, a member of the ubiquitin-specific protease family, plays a crucial role in regulating protein degradation pathways, particularly those involved in cell cycle progression and DNA damage response. Dysregulation of USP44 has been implicated in various cancers, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Research into USP44 has revealed its involvement in maintaining genome stability by deubiquitinating key proteins that control the cell cycle, such as cyclins and other regulatory factors. Understanding the structural and functional characteristics of USP44, particularly through the study of its recombinant protein, is essential to elucidate its mechanisms of action and develop novel therapeutic strategies. Recent advances in protein engineering and expression systems have facilitated the production of USP44 in a recombinant form, allowing for detailed biochemical and functional analyses. These studies aim to uncover the substrate specificity of USP44, its interaction partners, and its broader role in cellular signaling pathways. Moreover, by exploring the potential of USP44 inhibitors, researchers are investigating new avenues for cancer treatment, particularly in tumors where USP44 is overexpressed. This area of research not only provides insights into the fundamental aspects of cellular regulation but also holds promise for innovative approaches to combat cancer and other diseases associated with ubiquitin-proteasome system dysfunction. Overall, the study of USP44 recombinant protein represents a vital step toward understanding the complexities of cellular homeostasis and the potential therapeutic implications of targeting deubiquitinating enzymes in disease contexts.
