Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
FAM80A, or Family with Sequence Similarity 80A, is a protein that has garnered interest in the field of molecular biology due to its potential roles in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Initial studies suggested that FAM80A may be involved in cancer progression, as its expression levels appear to be dysregulated in several malignancies. Furthermore, recent research has indicated that FAM80A could play a critical role in the regulation of key signaling pathways, such as the PI3K/AKT and MAPK pathways, which are commonly implicated in tumorigenesis. The study of recombinant FAM80A protein is essential for elucidating its biological functions and interactions at the molecular level. By producing and characterizing this recombinant protein, researchers aim to explore its structural properties, post-translational modifications, and interaction with other proteins. This understanding may contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting FAM80A-related pathways in cancer and other diseases. As such, investigating the recombinant FAM80A protein will provide valuable insights into its roles in cellular signaling and may highlight its significance as a potential biomarker or therapeutic target in malignancies.
