Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EXOC7, a key component of the exocyst complex, plays a crucial role in membrane trafficking and is involved in the process of exocytosis, where cellular materials are transported and released. The exocyst is essential for the proper targeting of vesicles to the plasma membrane, ensuring that proteins and lipids are delivered to their correct locations, which is vital for maintaining cellular functionality and homeostasis. Research has increasingly focused on EXOC7 due to its implications in various biological processes, including cell signaling, division, and migration, as well as its potential association with certain diseases, such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. By studying recombinant EXOC7 proteins, researchers aim to understand its structure, function, and interactions within the exocyst complex. Insights gained from these studies could shed light on the molecular mechanisms underlying membrane trafficking and provide avenues for therapeutic interventions in diseases where exocytosis is disrupted. Overall, the exploration of EXOC7 not only enhances our understanding of fundamental cellular processes but also opens up potential for developing targeted therapies based on exocytosis-related pathways.
