Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ZNF259, a member of the zinc finger protein family, is primarily known for its role in gene regulation and its association with various biological processes, including lipid metabolism. Research indicates that ZNF259 may interact with specific transcription factors to modulate the expression of genes involved in cholesterol and lipid homeostasis. Genetic studies have highlighted ZNF259 as a candidate gene linked to lipid traits, suggesting its potential role in metabolic disorders such as dyslipidemia and atherosclerosis. The protein has garnered interest due to its localization on chromosome 19, near the genes associated with lipid metabolism, making it a significant focus in studies exploring the genetic basis of cardiovascular diseases. By developing recombinant ZNF259 protein, researchers aim to elucidate its structural and functional properties, enabling a deeper understanding of its mechanistic roles in cellular processes. The insights gained from this research could pave the way for therapeutic interventions targeting lipid-related diseases, underscoring the importance of ZNF259 in health and disease.
