Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TMTC1 (Transmembrane and Tetratricopeptide Repeats 1) is a protein that has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its involvement in various cellular processes and potential implications in disease pathogenesis. Initially identified as a transmembrane protein, TMTC1 is thought to function within the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and play a role in protein folding and trafficking. Research has highlighted its crucial role in the maintenance of cellular calcium homeostasis and its potential influence on neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly because mutations in the TMTC1 gene have been linked to syndromic conditions affecting the nervous system. Additionally, the study of TMTC1 as a recombinant protein offers valuable insights into its functional dynamics and interactions within cellular environments. By producing and characterizing TMTC1 in a controlled setting, researchers can dissect its structural properties, elucidate its biochemical pathways, and explore its interactions with other proteins. Understanding the role of TMTC1 at a molecular level not only sheds light on basic cellular biology but also paves the way for therapeutic strategies targeting malfunctions associated with TMTC1 dysregulation. The ongoing research into TMTC1 recombinant protein represents a promising avenue towards uncovering novel insights into its biological significance and therapeutic potential in related disorders.
