Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DGKg (Diacylglycerol kinase gamma) is a crucial enzyme that plays a significant role in lipid metabolism and cellular signaling pathways. Its primary function involves the conversion of diacylglycerol (DAG) into phosphatidic acid (PA), thereby regulating various cellular processes, including proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Recent studies have highlighted DGKg's involvement in diverse physiological functions and its potential links to various diseases, such as cancer and neurological disorders. The exploration of DGKg's role in cellular signaling has garnered attention due to its implications in understanding how dysregulation of lipid signaling can contribute to disease mechanisms. Additionally, DGKg is being investigated as a potential therapeutic target, making the study of its recombinant protein crucial for drug development. Researchers are focusing on the expression, purification, and functional characterization of recombinant DGKg to elucidate its structure-function relationships and to discover how it interacts with other cellular components. This research not only aims to provide insights into the enzymatic activity of DGKg but also seeks to establish its therapeutic potential through the development of small molecules or biologics that can modulate its activity. As a result, DGKg research represents a promising frontier in the understanding of metabolic diseases and the development of novel treatment strategies.
