Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PKN1 (Protein Kinase N1) is a member of the protein kinase C (PKC) family, playing a critical role in various cellular processes such as cytoskeletal dynamics, adhesion, and cell signaling. It is particularly involved in the regulation of cell migration and proliferation, making it a focus of research in cancer biology and other diseases. Studies have shown that PKN1 can be activated by small GTPases, which links it to several signaling pathways that control cellular responses to stimuli. The interest in PKN1 has grown due to its potential as a therapeutic target; dysregulation of PKN1 activity is associated with multiple cancer types, suggesting that it could be a promising biomarker or target for personalized cancer treatments. Additionally, understanding the molecular mechanisms of PKN1 function and its interactions with other proteins can provide insights into its role in pathological conditions. The development of recombinant PKN1 proteins has facilitated the exploration of its biochemical properties and has opened avenues for drug discovery and the design of PKN1 inhibitors. Overall, the study of PKN1 recombinant proteins is crucial for elucidating the function of this kinase in health and disease, thereby contributing to advancements in therapeutic strategies for cancer and other disorders influenced by PKN1 signaling.
