Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PKN2 (Protein Kinase N2) is a serine/threonine kinase that belongs to the PKC (Protein Kinase C) family and is involved in various cellular processes, including cytoskeletal organization, cell motility, and gene expression. Emerging research has highlighted PKN2's critical roles in regulating actin cytoskeleton dynamics and its involvement in signaling pathways that influence cellular responses to stress and growth factors. Abnormal regulation of PKN2 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer, where it may affect tumor progression and metastasis. Understanding the mechanistic roles of PKN2 in cellular signaling is essential for uncovering its potential as a therapeutic target. Recombinant PKN2 protein studies allow for detailed functional analysis, helping to elucidate its biochemical properties, substrate specificity, and interaction networks. These studies are crucial for advancing our knowledge of PKN2’s physiological functions and its potential implications in disease pathology. By generating PKN2 as a recombinant protein, researchers can investigate its kinase activity, determine its structural characteristics, and explore its interactions with various cellular partners, thereby providing insights into its roles in health and disease.
