Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PTPRG (Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Receptor Type G) is a member of the receptor-type phosphatases, which are critical in regulating various cellular processes, including growth, differentiation, and signaling pathways. Dysregulation of PTPRG has been associated with several cancers, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. Researchers have focused on characterizing PTPRG to better understand its biological functions and mechanisms of action. The recombinant expression of PTPRG is crucial for studying its structure-function relationships, enzyme kinetics, and interactions with other signaling molecules. By using various expression systems, including bacterial, yeast, and mammalian cells, scientists aim to produce functional PTPRG proteins that can be utilized in biochemical assays and structural studies. These studies are essential for elucidating the role of PTPRG in tumor biology and its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in cancer treatments. Consequently, ongoing research into the recombinant production of PTPRG not only advances our understanding of this phosphatase but also contributes to the broader field of cancer research by exploring novel therapeutic strategies that may inhibit its function in malignant cells.
