Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RGS6 (Regulator of G protein signaling 6) is a member of the RGS proteins family, which play a crucial role in regulating G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling pathways. These pathways are vital for various cellular responses, including growth, differentiation, and metabolism, and are implicated in numerous diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions. Given its potential involvement in these critical biological processes, RGS6 has attracted significant research interest. Studies have shown that RGS6 can modulate the activity of specific G proteins, thus influencing downstream signaling cascades. Furthermore, RGS6 has been linked to the regulation of various ion channels and has been suggested to have roles in neuronal signaling and synaptic transmission. The recombinant production of RGS6 protein has become crucial for understanding its functional mechanisms at the molecular level, enabling detailed investigations into its interactions with GPCRs and G proteins. By producing RGS6 as a recombinant protein, researchers aim to elucidate its structure-function relationship and explore its potential as a therapeutic target. Current studies focus on characterizing RGS6's role in different cellular contexts and its interactions with other signaling molecules, contributing to a broader understanding of GPCR signaling and its implications in health and disease.
