Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Corticotropin-releasing hormone receptor 2 (CRHR2) is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family, playing a crucial role in the regulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. It is primarily activated by corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH), which is involved in the stress response, emotional regulation, and a variety of neuroendocrine functions. Dysregulation of the CRHR2 signaling pathway has been implicated in several psychiatric disorders, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Given its significant role in mediating stress responses and associated behavioral outcomes, CRHR2 has emerged as a potential therapeutic target for novel antidepressants and anxiolytic treatments. The development of recombinant CRHR2 proteins has enabled detailed studies of its structural and functional properties, aiding in the understanding of receptor activation mechanisms and ligand interactions. These studies are pivotal for the design of selective CRHR2 modulators, which may offer improved efficacy and reduced side effects compared to existing therapies. Furthermore, research on CRHR2-recombinant proteins contributes to the broader understanding of GPCR pharmacology, enhancing our comprehension of how these receptors influence physiological and pathological processes within the body.
