Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CCKBR, or cholecystokinin B receptor, is a G protein-coupled receptor that plays a critical role in various physiological processes, including digestion, anxiety, and pain modulation. It is predominantly expressed in the brain and gastrointestinal tract. Research into CCKBR has gained significant interest due to its involvement in food intake regulation and its potential implications in obesity and eating disorders. Abnormalities in CCKBR signaling have also been linked to psychiatric conditions, necessitating further exploration of its therapeutic potential. The development of CCKBR recombinant proteins provides a valuable tool for studying the receptor's structure-function relationships and facilitating drug discovery efforts aimed at modulating its activity. These recombinant proteins can be used in multiple assays, including ligand-binding studies and functional assays, to elucidate the receptor's mechanisms and interactions with various ligands. Furthermore, understanding the signaling pathways associated with CCKBR could lead to novel therapeutic strategies for managing obesity, mood disorders, and other related conditions. The ongoing research in this area highlights the importance of CCKBR as a target for pharmacological interventions, making it a prominent focus in both neuropharmacology and metabolic studies.
