稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCMT1 (Protein L-isoaspartate O-methyltransferase 1) is an enzyme that plays a critical role in the repair and maintenance of damaged proteins. It catalyzes the methylation of L-isoaspartate residues, which are formed during the spontaneous deamidation of aspartate and asparagine in aging and stressed proteins. The accumulation of these damaged proteins is associated with various age-related diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer's disease. Understanding the biological functions of PCMT1 and its enzyme mechanisms is essential for developing therapeutic strategies targeting the accumulation of damaged proteins. Additionally, recombinant PCMT1 protein serves as a valuable tool for structural and functional studies that may reveal insights into its activity and regulation. Researchers have focused on the expression and purification of PCMT1 for biochemical assays, aiming to delineate its role in cellular repair processes and its potential involvement in disease progression. By investigating PCMT1, scientists hope to develop interventions that could enhance protein quality control and mitigate the pathological effects of protein misfolding and aggregation, ultimately contributing to improved health outcomes in aging populations.
