Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TBC1D23, a member of the TBC (Tre-2/Bub2/CEP-TBC) domain-containing protein family, has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its potential roles in cellular processes, particularly in vesicle trafficking and cellular signaling. Research suggests that TBC1D23 is involved in regulating the activity of Rab GTPases, which are crucial for the transport of cellular cargo and maintenance of cellular homeostasis. Mutations in TBC1D23 have been implicated in various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer, highlighting its importance in health and disease. The protein has also been shown to participate in endosomal and lysosomal pathways, influencing autophagy and degradation processes. Therefore, understanding the functional mechanisms of TBC1D23, including its interactions with other proteins and its downstream effects, is vital for uncovering its biological significance and potential as a therapeutic target. The recombinant expression of TBC1D23 allows for the study of its structure-function relationships, enabling researchers to explore its role in cellular dynamics more comprehensively. Moreover, the study of TBC1D23 in the context of disease may uncover novel biomarkers and therapeutic strategies, reinforcing the value of this protein in biomedical research.
