Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
WISP3 (Wnt-Inducible Signaling Pathway Protein 3) is a member of the CCN (Connective Tissue Growth Factor, Cyr61, and Nov) family of proteins that play crucial roles in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. This protein has garnered attention due to its involvement in several human diseases, particularly in bone development and disorders such as osteoarthritis and spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia. Research has indicated that WISP3 may act as a regulatory factor in the Wnt signaling pathway, which is essential for proper cellular communication and tissue homeostasis. Mutations in the WISP3 gene have been linked to skeletal dysplasias, highlighting its significance in maintaining skeletal integrity. Additionally, studies suggest that WISP3 may have implications in cancer biology, as its expression patterns appear to correlate with tumor progression and metastasis in certain cancers. Understanding the structural and functional characteristics of WISP3, as well as its interactions with other molecular pathways, is critical for elucidating its roles in both normal physiology and disease states. Recent advances in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of WISP3 and its variants, allowing for detailed biochemical and biophysical characterization. This research not only provides insights into the fundamental biology of WISP3 but also opens avenues for the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting its pathways in related diseases.
