  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

WDR70, a member of the WD40 repeat protein family, plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including RNA metabolism, protein folding, and cellular stress responses. Its structure, characterized by multiple WD repeats, facilitates interactions with a myriad of protein partners, suggesting a versatile function in signaling pathways and protein complexes. Research into WDR70 has gained momentum due to its implications in several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, where its expression levels and activity may influence cellular homeostasis and stress resilience. The reconstitution of WDR70 as a recombinant protein offers a valuable tool for elucidating its biochemical properties and interactions. By allowing for controlled studies in vitro, these recombinant proteins can help delineate the precise mechanisms by which WDR70 contributes to key cellular functions and its potential role in disease pathology. Furthermore, understanding the post-translational modifications and regulatory mechanisms governing WDR70 activity could reveal new therapeutic avenues for targeting its function in disease contexts. Overall, the study of WDR70 as a recombinant protein holds promise for advancing our understanding of its biological significance and the development of novel strategies for intervention in related diseases.
