Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SYNJ2, a member of the SYNJ (synaptojanin) family of phosphoinositide phosphatases, has emerged as a crucial component in the regulation of clathrin-mediated endocytosis and synaptic vesicle recycling. Research into SYNJ2 has intensified due to its association with various neurological disorders and neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s disease. This protein is primarily expressed in the brain, where it plays a significant role in maintaining synaptic integrity and function. Studies have shown that mutations or dysregulation of SYNJ2 can lead to impaired endocytic processes, affecting neurotransmitter release and neuronal communication. Furthermore, SYNJ2 has been linked to the modulation of lipid signaling pathways, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target for cognitive dysfunctions. Understanding the structure and function of SYNJ2 through recombinant protein studies is essential for elucidating its biological roles and its involvement in pathophysiological conditions. By employing techniques such as protein expression, purification, and functional assays, researchers aim to unravel the mechanisms by which SYNJ2 contributes to synaptic health and its potential implications in treating neurological diseases.
