  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CRIM1 (Cysteine-rich motor neuron 1) is a protein that has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its crucial role in various biological processes. Initially identified for its expression in the nervous system, CRIM1 has been linked to neuronal development, axon guidance, and synaptic function. Its unique structure, characterized by a series of cysteine-rich domains, suggests that it may play a role in protein-protein interactions, potentially influencing signaling pathways critical for cell growth and differentiation. Research has also indicated that CRIM1 is involved in developmental processes beyond the nervous system, including its expression in heart and kidney tissues, implicating it in organogenesis. Importantly, alterations in CRIM1 expression have been associated with different pathological conditions, including cancer progression and congenital disorders. Given its multifaceted roles, recombinant CRIM1 protein has become a focus of research for understanding its mechanisms of action and potential therapeutic applications. Scientists are exploring the structural and functional properties of CRIM1 through recombinant expression systems, which allow for the production of large quantities of the protein for biochemical assays and functional studies. This research aims to unravel the complexities of CRIM1's role in physiology and disease, paving the way for novel interventions that target its function in pathological contexts, highlighting the need for more comprehensive studies on CRIM1's interactions and signaling pathways.
