稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
VPS26B, a member of the retromer complex, plays a crucial role in intracellular trafficking and the maintenance of protein homeostasis. It is involved in the retrieval of transmembrane proteins from endosomes back to the Golgi apparatus, which is essential for recycling and the proper functioning of various cellular pathways. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of VPS26B in neurodegenerative diseases, as mutations can disrupt its function and contribute to protein misfolding and aggregation. Furthermore, VPS26B is highly expressed in the brain, indicating its potential role in neuronal health and development. Understanding the mechanisms by which VPS26B operates and how it interacts with other proteins involved in the endosomal-lysosomal pathway is critical for developing therapeutic strategies aimed at mitigating the effects of its dysfunction. Research on VPS26B recombinant proteins has also opened avenues for exploring its structure-function relationship, providing insight into how post-translational modifications may influence its activity. As studies continue to unveil the complexities of VPS26B's role in cellular processes, this research could pave the way for advancements in treating conditions associated with its impaired function, including Alzheimer's disease and other forms of neurodegeneration.
