Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DNAI2, a protein encoded by the DNAI2 gene, is an essential component of the inner dynein arm in cilia and flagella, playing a critical role in motility. Understanding DNAI2's function is significant due to its implications in various ciliary disorders, particularly primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD), a condition characterized by impaired ciliary movement leading to respiratory and fertility issues. Research on the recombinant form of DNAI2 focuses on elucidating its structural and functional properties, which are pivotal for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying ciliary movement. Furthermore, studying DNAI2 can provide insights into the pathogenesis of PCD and related diseases, potentially leading to novel therapeutic approaches. The production and characterization of recombinant DNAI2 allow researchers to investigate its interactions with other ciliary proteins and to assess how mutations in DNAI2 can disrupt ciliary function. Overall, the exploration of DNAI2 through recombinant protein studies holds promise for advancing our comprehension of ciliary biology and its broader impact on human health.
