稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
VMD2 (Voltage-Dependent Anion Channel 2) is a mitochondrial protein that plays a crucial role in regulating mitochondrial function and cell metabolism. It has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its involvement in various cellular processes, including ion transport, apoptosis, and energy production. The study of VMD2 as a recombinant protein is essential for understanding its structure-function relationship and its potential implications in metabolic disorders and neurodegenerative diseases. Research has suggested that VMD2 is linked to mitochondrial dynamics and cellular stress responses, making it a candidate for therapeutic targeting. However, the limited availability of the pure protein has hindered detailed investigation into its biochemical properties and interactions with other mitochondrial proteins. Thus, producing VMD2 as a recombinant protein allows researchers to perform functional assays and structural studies that can elucidate its role in mitochondrial biology and disease. This research can ultimately contribute to the development of novel strategies for treating conditions associated with mitochondrial dysfunction, emphasizing the importance of VMD2 in cellular homeostasis and disease pathology.
