  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

SOCS7 (Suppressor of Cytokine Signaling 7) is a member of the SOCS protein family, which is known for its role in regulating cytokine signaling pathways. The SOCS proteins, including SOCS7, act as negative feedback regulators of various signaling pathways, particularly those involved in inflammatory responses and immune regulation. Previous studies have indicated that SOCS7 may play a crucial role in modulating glucose metabolism and insulin signaling, highlighting its potential implications in metabolic disorders like obesity and diabetes. Additionally, SOCS7 has been linked to processes such as cell proliferation and differentiation, suggesting a broader role in development and disease. Research on SOCS7 recombinant proteins aims to elucidate its functional role, interactions with other signaling molecules, and potential therapeutic targets. Understanding the molecular mechanisms by which SOCS7 regulates signaling pathways may provide insights into developing novel treatments for diseases characterized by dysregulated cytokine signaling, such as autoimmune disorders and cancer. Given the increasing prevalence of metabolic diseases and the complexity of cytokine networks, investigating SOCS7 may reveal critical therapeutic avenues and enhance our understanding of cellular homeostasis and immune responses.
