  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

DDX43, a member of the DEAD-box RNA helicase family, is known for its involvement in various cellular processes, including RNA metabolism, gene expression regulation, and ribosome biogenesis. Recent research has highlighted its crucial role in cancer biology, where DDX43 is often found to be overexpressed in various tumor types. This overexpression is linked to enhanced cell proliferation, survival, and metastasis, suggesting that DDX43 may serve as a potential biomarker for cancer progression and a target for therapeutic intervention. Despite its significance, the functional mechanisms of DDX43 remain inadequately understood, particularly in the context of post-transcriptional regulation and interactions with RNA substrates. Studies involving recombinant DDX43 protein have aimed to elucidate its biochemical properties and elucidate its role in RNA helicase activity. Understanding the structure and function of DDX43 through recombinant protein studies not only helps in revealing the molecular underpinnings of its activity but also opens avenues for developing novel strategies to combat cancers where DDX43 is implicated. As research progresses, the characterization of DDX43 and its interactions with various cellular components may provide deeper insights into its functionality and lead to the identification of new biomarkers or therapeutic targets in oncology.
