Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DDX42, a member of the DEAD box protein family, is a highly conserved RNA helicase that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including RNA metabolism, splicing, and ribosome biogenesis. Its involvement in the modulation of gene expression and stress responses makes DDX42 an important player in cellular homeostasis and development. Research has shown that DDX42 is implicated in several human diseases, including cancer, where its aberrant expression can contribute to tumor progression and resistance to therapy. Understanding the structure and function of DDX42 through recombinant protein studies provides insights into its mechanisms of action and regulatory pathways. The production of recombinant DDX42 enables detailed biochemical and biophysical characterization, which is essential for elucidating its role in RNA-related processes. Additionally, studying DDX42 can lead to the identification of potential therapeutic targets and strategies for intervention in diseases associated with its dysregulation, highlighting its significance in biomedical research.
