Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SOCS4 (Suppressor of Cytokine Signaling 4) is a member of the SOCS family, known for its role in negative regulation of cytokine signaling pathways. Research on SOCS4 has gained attention due to its involvement in various biological processes, including immune response modulation, cell proliferation, and differentiation. Dysregulation of SOCS4 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer, where it may contribute to tumor progression and metastasis by affecting the balance of cytokine signaling. The protein functions primarily by inhibiting Janus kinases (JAKs), thereby influencing downstream signaling cascades such as the STAT pathway. Recent studies have focused on understanding the structural features of SOCS4, its interaction with other proteins, and its potential therapeutic applications. Recombination and expression of SOCS4 in various cellular models have provided insights into its functional mechanisms and regulatory networks. By exploring the role of SOCS4 in both physiological and pathological contexts, researchers aim to uncover novel strategies for targeted therapies, particularly in immune-related disorders and cancers where SOCS4 might serve as a biomarker or therapeutic target.
