Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of the Y+LAT1 recombinant protein is situated within the broader context of understanding amino acid transport in mammalian cells, particularly underlining the role of system L transporters, which are crucial for the uptake of large neutral amino acids. Y+LAT1, encoded by the SLC7A5 gene, is a member of this transporter family and has garnered attention due to its involvement in various physiological and pathological processes, including nutrient absorption, cellular signaling, and cancer metabolism. Recent research highlights its significance in tumor growth and metastasis, suggesting that Y+LAT1 may serve as a potential therapeutic target in oncology. Understanding its structure and function is vital for elucidating the mechanisms of amino acid transport and exploring its implications in diseases characterized by metabolic dysregulation. The production and characterization of Y+LAT1 recombinant protein allow researchers to investigate its functional properties, interactions with other cellular components, and the regulatory mechanisms governing its expression and activity. This foundational knowledge is essential for developing novel therapeutic strategies that can manipulate amino acid transport in the context of cancer and other metabolic disorders.
