Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DDX21, a member of the DExD/H-box RNA helicase family, plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including ribosome biogenesis, transcriptional regulation, and intrinsic immune responses. Its function largely revolves around the unwinding of RNA structures, facilitating the processing and maturation of rRNA and other RNA species. Recent studies have implicated DDX21 in several human diseases, including cancer and viral infections, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The recombinant expression of DDX21 protein has become a pivotal approach for understanding its biochemical properties, interaction with RNA and other proteins, and its involvement in cellular pathways. By producing DDX21 in a laboratory setting, researchers can investigate its structural features and enzymatic activities, as well as its regulatory mechanisms in response to cellular stress or infection. Additionally, as DDX21 is involved in processing pre-mRNA and activating immune responses against viral pathogens, studying its recombinant protein can provide insights into developing antiviral therapies and elucidating the molecular basis of diseases linked to aberrant DDX21 function. Thus, the research on DDX21 recombinant protein not only contributes to our comprehension of fundamental biological processes but also paves the way for potential applications in medical research and therapeutics.
