Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of SNX2 (Sorting Nexin 2), a member of the sorting nexin family, has gained significant attention in cellular biology due to its crucial role in membrane trafficking and endosomal recycling processes. SNX2 is primarily involved in the retrieval of proteins from early endosomes to the trans-Golgi network, thereby playing a pivotal role in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Recent research has identified SNX2 as a key player in various cellular functions, including the regulation of cholesterol metabolism and the modulation of immune responses. Additionally, abnormalities in SNX2 expression and function have been linked to several diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancers. The recombinant protein form of SNX2 is essential for elucidating its biochemical properties, structural features, and the mechanisms by which it interacts with other cellular components. By producing and studying SNX2 recombinant protein, researchers can investigate its role in cellular pathways, identify potential protein-protein interactions, and explore its implications in disease contexts. This line of research is critical for understanding how SNX2 functions at the molecular level and may lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting SNX2-related pathways.
