  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

DDX20, also known as DEAD-box helicase 20, is a member of the DEAD-box RNA helicase family, which plays crucial roles in various biological processes, including RNA metabolism, gene expression regulation, and viral replication. Dysregulation of DDX20 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders. The protein functions as a coactivator in the transcriptional regulation of certain genes, influencing pathways that are vital for cell proliferation and survival. Due to its involvement in oncogenic processes, DDX20 has attracted attention as a potential therapeutic target. Additionally, recombinant forms of DDX20 provide valuable tools for understanding its biochemical properties and interactions. By studying DDX20 recombinant proteins, researchers aim to unravel its mechanistic roles, characterize its RNA-binding capabilities, and explore its interaction with other cellular proteins. Such investigations are essential for elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying DDX20's functions and its contributions to disease pathology, potentially leading to the development of innovative strategies for therapeutic intervention in conditions associated with DDX20 dysregulation.
