Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SMARCC2, a core component of the SWI/SNF chromatin-remodeling complex, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression and maintaining cellular identity through its involvement in chromatin dynamics. Research has shown that SMARCC2 contributes to various cellular processes, including differentiation, proliferation, and response to environmental signals. Abnormalities in SMARCC2 function are implicated in several diseases, particularly cancer, where dysregulated chromatin remodeling can lead to aberrant gene expression patterns that promote tumorigenesis. Recent studies have focused on the structural and functional characterization of SMARCC2 as a recombinant protein to better understand its mechanisms of action within the chromatin landscape. These investigations aim to elucidate its interactions with other chromatin-associated proteins and provide insights into the complex regulatory networks governing gene expression. By utilizing recombinant protein technology, researchers can produce SMARCC2 in a controlled manner, facilitating biochemical assays and structural analyses. Such studies are expected to unveil potential therapeutic targets and strategies for modulating SMARCC2 activity in disease contexts, offering hope for the development of novel interventions for cancers and other disorders linked to chromatin remodeling dysfunctions. The ongoing research into SMARCC2 and its associated pathways highlights the significance of chromatin dynamics in cellular regulation and underscores the potential of targeting such pathways in therapeutic development.
