Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GABPa, a member of the GA-binding protein (GABP) transcription factor family, plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. It is composed of two subunits, GABPa and GABPb, which form a functional complex that can bind to specific DNA sequences, thereby regulating the expression of target genes. Research has shown that GABPa is involved in the regulation of genes essential for mitochondrial function, immune response, and oncogenesis. Dysregulation of GABPa has been linked to several diseases, including cancer, making it a significant focus of study for therapeutic interventions. The recombinant expression of GABPa allows for detailed analysis of its structure-function relationships, protein-protein interactions, and its role in transcriptional regulation. Through the production of recombinant GABPa proteins, researchers aim to advance our understanding of its molecular mechanisms, identify potential binding partners, and develop targeted strategies for modulating its activity in disease contexts. The use of recombinant proteins also facilitates the exploration of GABPa's potential as a biomarker for disease progression and as a target for drug development. Overall, the study of GABPa recombinant proteins is vital for elucidating the complex regulatory networks in which it participates, with implications in therapeutic research and a broader understanding of cellular processes.
