Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC35B2 is a member of the solute carrier family, specifically involved in the transport of nucleotide sugars across the cellular membrane. Recent studies have highlighted its crucial role in glycosylation processes, which are essential for the proper folding, stability, and function of glycoproteins and glycolipids. Dysregulation of SLC35B2 has been linked to various diseases, including cancer, due to its impact on cellular signaling and the tumor microenvironment. The recombinant protein of SLC35B2 serves as a valuable tool for investigating its functional properties and elucidating its mechanism of action at the molecular level. By producing and characterizing SLC35B2 in a controlled laboratory setting, researchers aim to better understand its substrate specificity, transport kinetics, and the broader implications of its activity in health and disease. This research not only enhances our knowledge of sugar transport mechanisms but also opens up potential therapeutic avenues for conditions associated with glycosylation abnormalities. As a result, SLC35B2 and its recombinant protein are gaining attention in the field of molecular biology and biomedicine, offering insights that could lead to novel strategies for diagnosis and treatment.
