Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AFF1 (AF4/FMR2 family member 1) is a member of the AFF gene family and plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including transcriptional regulation and RNA processing. It is primarily associated with the development of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) due to its involvement in chromosomal translocations that result in the formation of fusion proteins like AFF1-MLL, which disrupt normal hematopoiesis. Research on recombinant AFF1 proteins focuses on elucidating its structure, function, and interactions with other cellular components to understand its role in leukemogenesis. Scientists employ techniques such as gene cloning, expression in various systems (like E. coli or mammalian cells), and biochemical assays to explore the protein’s functionality and its implications in cancer biology. Additionally, studies aim to identify potential therapeutic targets by investigating the pathways influenced by AFF1 and its associated complexes. Understanding the molecular mechanisms of AFF1 can provide insight into the broader picture of leukemogenesis and aid in the development of targeted therapies, ultimately improving treatment strategies for patients with leukemias involving AFF1 alterations. This research is significant in the quest to unveil the complexities of gene regulation in cancer and could pave the way for novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in hematological malignancies.
