Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GRIA1, or Glutamate Receptor Ionotropic AMPA 1, is a crucial protein involved in synaptic transmission and plasticity in the central nervous system. It plays a pivotal role in the mediation of fast excitatory neurotransmission in the brain by binding to the neurotransmitter glutamate. Dysregulation of GRIA1 has been implicated in various neurological disorders, including epilepsy, schizophrenia, and neurodegenerative diseases. The study of GRIA1 recombinant proteins has gained significant attention as researchers seek to understand its structure, function, and the mechanisms underlying its interactions with other proteins and ligands. Recombinant GRIA1 proteins can be expressed in heterologous systems, allowing for detailed biophysical studies and functional assays that are critical for elucidating receptor dynamics and pharmacology. Furthermore, these studies can provide insights into how specific mutations or alterations in GRIA1 contribute to disease pathology, paving the way for the development of targeted therapies. Overall, the exploration of GRIA1 recombinant proteins represents a promising avenue for advancing our understanding of synaptic function and its implications for brain health.
