Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC20A1, a member of the sodium-dependent phosphate transporter family, plays a crucial role in phosphate homeostasis, which is vital for various physiological processes, including bone mineralization and cellular energy metabolism. Abnormalities in SLC20A1 function have been implicated in several diseases, such as idiopathic hypophosphatemic rickets and certain forms of tumoral calcinosis, highlighting its significance in human health. The study of SLC20A1 recombinant protein provides valuable insights into its structure, function, and regulation. By expressing and purifying this protein in a suitable host system, researchers can investigate its kinetic properties and transport mechanisms, as well as the impact of specific mutations on its activity. Understanding the molecular basis of SLC20A1's function can lead to the identification of potential therapeutic targets for disorders associated with phosphate dysregulation. Additionally, characterizing the interaction of SLC20A1 with other cellular components may shed light on the broader aspects of cellular signaling and transport processes. Overall, the research on SLC20A1 recombinant protein is essential for advancing our knowledge of phosphate transport and its implications for disease treatment and prevention.
